Not to be outdone, here's something almost equally disturbing:
I also have two "house keeping" issues so to speak. First, I'd like to wish everyone who celebrates Hanukkah, a very happy first night of the "Festival of Lights" which began at sundown.
Second, I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that with the holidays approaching I was going to be suggesting a few charities which people interested in donating, may want to look at. The first charity I picked was "Help Virginia Read," the second was "Threads And Toys For Girls And Boys," and tonight I'm choosing Toys for Tots.
Toys for Tots is a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve program that collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year. They then distribute the toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community the campaign was conducted in. For a list of drop off locations in Richmond, go here.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Of Tribbett and Mackenzie
SWAC Girl takes a look at Ben Tribbett's post on George Allen, which she says was in poor taste (and if I might add, a bit hypocritical) and also writes about longtime RTD Editor Ross Mackenzie's retirement. SWAC Girl is quickly turning into a daily read.
