BREAKING: BUSH SENDS 20,000 MORE AMERICANS TO IRAQ CIVIL WAR
BREAKING: Well, we all pretty much knew this was coming, but let it be known that it's now official, degenerate George W. Bush has committed over 20,000 additional Americans to be placed in the midst of a civil war in Iraq.
UPDATE: Senator Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) is giving the Democratic response.
UPDATE #2: Senator Barack Obama (D-Illinois) will apparently be responding as well. C-Span is covering Dick Durbin's press conference, while ALL of the major media outlets are ignoring it, I'm not sure why.
UPDATE #3: Via a reader comment left on News Hounds:
"'Top Video' on FoxNews.com right now? Bush's umpteenth Iraq PR speech? NO. Fox News' 'Top Video' is... 'PARTY NAKED Ivy league students bare their minds and bodies at wild off-campus parties.'"
Oh, that is RICH!
UPDATE #4: Oh look, even far right wing Oliver North acknowledges that the vast majority of American troops in Iraq are opposed to Bush's plan (video included).
UPDATE #5: "Demonstrations" have already begun in front of the White House tonight. Remember, there are hundreds of rallies planned nationwide tomorrow to protest this absolutely insane plan.
UPDATE #6: Another blunder by Fox News. They actually had a CLOCK UP ON THE SCREEN which read "Where's their (the Democrats) plan?" counting from the time Bush's speech ended. Fair and Balanced MY ASS. Sounds like a bunch of small children using juvenile excuses to get themselves out of trouble.
UPDATE #7: Bush is Stuck on Replay - Four Years On, He Continues the Lie: Iraq is Linked to 9/11.

You speak so condescendingly as if you don't sound like a little child yourself. Lets make fun of the president's college life as if Democratic presidents like Kennedy were angels. I would say that Fox being biased balances out the numerous leftist media outlets. And though Oliver North is conservative I wouldn't come close to saying he is "far right". Its funny that the leftist media finds two generals that disagree with Bush's policy and paste 'em all over the news. I don't know about you but I'll listen to the generals in Iraq who are begging for more troops. And one more thing, why haven't the media outlets displayed Sen. John McCain's emphatic support of the new plan? Oh, thats right, we can't be showing anything in support of President Bush. Once again, I'll listen to a Vietnam Vet's opinion who was also a prisoner of war, more than a political analyst sitting in a cozy plush office.
A) no one said anything about anyone's college life.
B) You are just telling bold faced lies now and you know it, I've already responded to your comments about the media in the other thread, I'm not going to do it again (get some new material).
C) The Generals at the Pentagon and in Iraq (as well as the Joint Chiefs) are all opposed to the plan
Your saying you've never heard of any liberals raz PRESIDENT Bush for being part of a frat in college and often partying?
The Generals are all opposed to the plan as MSNBC tells you. Your going to say that not one General agrees with the plan, and that for some ungodly reason only Sen. McCain agrees with the plan? And please specify which portion of this I have LIED about.
"Your saying you've never heard of any liberals raz PRESIDENT Bush for being part of a frat in college and often partying?"
No I have, but no one has ever brought it up on my blog, and I don't know why you would.

Why only MSNBC? Are you assuming that that is all I watch? Because you would be way off. I watch C-span, CNN, MSNBC, AND FOX NEWS, among others.
As I said in another thread when I was accused of being unfair - I have no problems divulging my political leanings (I mean, look at the name of my blog), but I also have absolutely NO PROBLEM calling out Democrats when I think they're wrong (also see: Charlie Rangel on the draft).
I think McCain is a degenerate too for agreeing with the plan. But at the same time, I kind of respect him for supporting the decision if it's what he truly believes is best for America - because supporting Bush right now is pretty much political suicide. :)
I just threw the college thing in there because I've heard it so much before, and having nothing to do with the presidency I think its unnecessary. And I'm picking on MSNBC like you are picking on Fox News. And I didn't say that I ALWAYS support the conservatives. For example, conservative or not what Congressman Mark Foley did was unexceptable. And I also stated that I agree that President Bush has managed the war very poorly, I just think pulling out would be the wrong path to go down.
