Video of Bill O'Reilly accusing kidnap victim of enjoying his circumstances!
This is truly pathetic. On Monday, January 15, 2007 during his show on Fox News, Bill O'Reilly accused a kidnap victim, who had been held captive for four years of "enjoying" his circumstances.

Good God. Unbelievable. Does he think Elizabeth Smart stayed with her captor because she enjoyed living in a dirt cave in the ground (or whereever else they stayed) instead of her beautiful home with her loving family? Has this guy not ever taken psych 101 about "The Stockholm Syndrome"?
While this boy is now a "public figure" (not of his own making), O'Reily's comments come close to having the malice (or should I say ignorance) required to bring a defamation action against him. What an idiot.
I hope that Ed Smart is all over him with this one.

I thought about that too. While I don't want to infringe on anyone's free speech, O'Reilly has a (shrinking) cult of viewers who believe every word he says as if he were the second coming of Christ. I would hope that he a) apologizes or b) gets tossed from the air, but I highly doubt either of those things happens.
