Daily RunDown: Thanksgiving Day edition

As I stated briefly last night, I'm going to be starting what I suppose you could call a daily "segment", called "The Daily RunDown." Basically nothing more than a collection of links to news, opinion pieces, or other blog posts that I found to be interesting, funny, important, etc. that weren't otherwise discussed here. I hope you enjoy! And without further adieu:

Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade: no injuries this year! - New York Times

Too dangerous to visit Iraq this year, Bush makes phone calls instead. - Washington Post

Iraq sinks further into civil war. - Associated Press

Only major U.S. ally pulling out of Iraq? - Times Online

Well as long as he didn't go hunting! - AFP

Bush's "BFFL" in Russia responsible for yet another critics murder? - Associated Press

Just in case you weren't already aware that there's a poll for EVERYTHING. - Washington Times

In case you missed it: Check out NLS's live blog with Virginia's Attorney General Bob McDonnell yesterday.

And finally, let us remember the family of Col. Thomas Holt Felts today as we celebrate Thanksgiving. On November 14 he became the 100th Virginian killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is also the highest ranking U.S. officer killed in the war. - Richmond Times Dispatch
