Democrats 30, Republicans 0 F
The Democrats finished the year with +30 new U.S. House seats, while Republicans failed to pickup a single new seat.
The last seat remaining was called today for a run off election in the Texas 23 Congressional District. Ciro Rodriguez (D) defeated Rep. Henry Bonilla (R) in a HUGE upset.
Congratulations to Republicans on the excellent year they had. Hopefully they can keep up the momentum in 2007!
