Update: Mars Candy Company still running atrocious homophobic commercials in Australia

Yesterday AmericaBlog, myself, and a host of other bloggers covered the vile homophobic commercial ran by the Mars Candy Co. for Snickers candy bars during the Super Bowl. The ad showed two men having an extremely homophobic reaction to two males kissing, and the company had planned to air the commercials during the Daytona 500 later this month, giving "fans" an opportunity to select an "alternative ending," one of which showed the men so repulsed by two guys kissing, that they poured car motor oil down their own throats.

That American version of the ad was pulled after complaints rolled in yesterday, but checkout this Australian version that's EVEN WORSE, and as far as I can tell, is still running down under...

What makes this ad even WORSE is the fact that unlike the American ad, in this Australian version, there can be NO DOUBT that the Mars Co. is "poking fun" at the GLBT community as a whole.
