UPDATED: It's time for Virginians to take action!!!

BREAKING: Hmm, all I can say is WOW. A bill to completely ban abortion in my home state of Virginia has passed committee. HB 2797 states:

Constitutional right to enjoyment of life. Provides that "the right to enjoyment of life" guaranteed by Article 1, § 1 of the Constitution of Virginia is vested in each born and preborn human being from the moment of fertilization.

Here's some contact information via Vivian Paige to get in touch with Virginia legislators to STOP this vile pile of garbage:

Call your legislators (free) at the constituent hot line, 1-800-889-0229. Oppose HB2797, person-hood from the moment of fertilization.

Congratulations Virginia, between the bigot tag-team of Virgil Goode, and Frank Hargrove, and this, you're becoming a national laughing stock!

With fanatics like Bob Marshall (R-Mars), Ken Kook-inelli (R-Pluto), and Jay O'Brien (R-Uranus) doing their darnedest to turn Virginia back to the Dark Ages, it's time for action.
